I always want to break out the dip too! And I cannot eat carrots plain UNLESS they are organically grown without chemicals because they leave a bad aftertaste! YUCK!
I have found that if I go ahead and buy a large bag of peanuts and portion them out in baggies, they make a filling and great snack. Also, keep hard boiled eggs in the fridge. Eating a hard boiled egg for a snack is one of Ivana Trump's secrets to weight loss.
I try to keep fresh fruit when I can afford it, around. But that is not often!
