A Diet No one has mentioned

Okay,

I've read a lot of posts tonight about weight, weight loss, surgery, and health.

A lot of people now days talk about the Atkins Diet. I honestly do not know anything about it. I know I've heard bad things though. I'm sure there are a lot of goods things too!

One diet that no one has ever mentioned, and I've heard nothing but good things about is the Suzanne Somers Diet. The newest book is called "Suzanne Somers' Fast & Easy". I do have the book, it's not very expensive. It's not a really restrictive diet. You can eat almost anything, it's just a matter of not eating certain foods with other foods and eating some foods only by themselves. Sounds stupid, but it works. I know a lot of people that have been on it. Most have lost about 40 pounds very easily within a few months. The most anyone has gained back was 5 pounds. They all have a lot more energy and feel a lot more healthy than they did before. I have the book, just haven't had time to read it because of studying so much! But as soon as I get free time, I'm starting it!

Of course it s to get at least a little physical activity in too. For that, I've got a class that is stressing it. The book is "Active Living Every Day". It is a once a week reading, usually only about 5 pages and is a slow start to getting moving. It's great! It's gotten me moving and I've been very sedentary for over 2 years. The website is: http://www.activeliving.info/ActiveLiving/ I don't know if you have to purchase the book or not, but the book pictured is the one I have. I got it through school. I'm 39 and only just getting myself in shape. So it's for anyone!

Becky, I just watched Larry King the other night and he had on Dr. Atkins wife who talked about the diet. It is something you would have to be on for the rest of your natural life. I have or had the book, the Atkins Diet and never bothered going on it. There are so many things you cant' eat with it.

I have heard that Suzanne Somers diet is very good. Her s are good too.
There are so many different diets out there today, the South Beach Diet is out now and I dont' know anything about that one either.
I think to diet, all you have to do really is push yourself away from the table. Dont' snack at night, unless its fruit or something like that and dont' overeat. Try to cut down on your normal intake of food at a meal and drink lots of water. I am sure you would lose just by doing that and of course get that in there too.

That's where the Suzanne Somer's one is nice, there is very little that you can not eat! It even has recipes in the book for cheesecake and a barbeque sauce that I've heard are excellant! It's mostly a matter of what you eat and when. I know you do have to give up bread and sugar. I still have to read the book, so I only know what I've been told.
