I hope we can get this thread going again. I still need encouragement and support from you guys who are willing to step in here and work along with me. I need to lose some of this weight so come on ladies, its time to get going again.

I hope to see some of the regular Pound Busters again along with a lot of new ladies who are willing to give and take encouragement, and in any way we can .

We give stars ** for all the good eating habits or anything else you have accomplished, we also give ~~ lashes for eating the wrong things, giving up too easily etc.

I could really use some encouragement and I am will to give some too. I have done good but of course at times things get tough and you start going in the wrong direction which is the way I seem to be going now. I had lost 67 lbs but in the last 2 weeks I have gained 7 of those lbs back. Other then those 7 lbs that I gained back I would like to lose 93 more lbs, yes I know that sounds like a lot but when you get as big as I got you would too!

well I will tell you guys I am going to start this. I weighed 225 two weeks ago now I am down two 218. I am working out trying to stay active eating en soup and salid. and taking matabalife efedra free. I love it it make me tierd when I should be and make me o all day long!!!!

I'd like to come back to Pound Busters. I'm working hard on getting the right attitude. I have about 100 lbs. to lose and can definitely use lots of encouragement.

Saphier, **** you go girl. Keep up the good work and check in often.

Melody, I'm not looking at your numbers as hard as you think I am. I am more concerned with ing you reach your goals. ******* 67 lbs! That's incredible. Don't fret over 7 lbs. for if you can lose 67 then a gain of 7 is no big deal, just make certain there is no more gain. I'm so proud of you for losing 67 so far - now - I can use your encouragement and . How did you do it?

Dont know If I should be here

But I have some weight to loose. I am 5 ft 2 1/2 inches and I really have to watch the pounds since I am short. I weigh about 130 now and want to loose about 15 pounds. How should I start to do this?

Thank you for all the encouragement and praise. Yesterday was just one of those days that I was really hard on myself. I did really good yesterday, NO snacking on things that were bad for me.
How did I do it? Hard work and really pushing myself hard. I will find "my message" that explains it better. Basically after my last pregnancy I was 28 with really high blood pressure and decided enough is enough, I wanted to live long enough to enjoy my children.

I'm a newbie to the site and this is the first time ever in this thread. I lost 74 pounds in the spring of 2002, but got pregnant in August of the same year. I have gained about 60 of that back. I REALLY need some encouragement to lose the weight again plus more. It kills me to even think about how much I weigh, but I'm 289 pounds . To be honest, weighing this much makes me soooooooo depressed. I've just started taking Xenadrin again which is what I lost the 74 pounds on so lets keep our fingers crossed. I'm staying busy with walks and stuff because of my 5 month old so at least I'm getting a little . Thanks so much for starting this thread, I really need it.

brandons_mommy -- NO NO NO -- don't be ashamed of your weight!! Love yourself for who you are on the inside ... don't judge yourself by what you look like on the outside!! Self image is a big deal and it's also a stumbling block for many who wish to lose weight. Sometimes all it takes is to learn to rself WITH all the weight in order to be successful losing the unwanted weight. Too many times I've heard people say if they could just lose weight they'd have a better life ... only to find that nothing except the size of their clothing and the numbers on the scale have changed -- talk about depressing.

Use us as sounding boards -- let us pull you out of that depression for depression only s us pack on the weight!!! Put on that happy face and get moving!!! Don't think of it as dieting maybe just think of your body as a "home" improvement project It took time to put it on ... it will take time to take it off and you even had special circumstances ing you put it on!!!!

What is your first name?? Keeping things on a first name basis s it be a little more personal and open in here. Hope you don't mind my asking.

My name is Mechele. I'm looking forward to getting to know you and I sure hope I can be a source of encouragement to you ... and if I'd ever get off my butt ... maybe I can even be a source of inspiration to you!!!!!

Mechele, I should have known it was you. I thought it was but should have asked. I am glad you are here with us. You keep us all on our toes.
Now Get Off Your Butt and get moving there.

Melody, you are doing so super. Keep up the hard work and before you know it, you will see a big difference in your clothes. It will work, just stick with us.

Janey and brandons mommy to you both.
We all have the same problems in here, some maybe less and some maybe more pounds to lose but together we WILL do it!!

Just be careful of what you eat, no inbetween snacks unless they are healthy ones. Chew a carrot stick or celery stick or something like that, drink lots of water, (now watch Mechele come in after me for that one) the water s to take the appetite away. I am having a problem giving up my cola. Mechele is doing great with giving up hers so she will grab me about the water.

Lots of . When you are on the computer, suck that tummy in and hold it, let it out and do it again. Do leg lifts if you can, when you are sitting doing nothing but watching tv or something, do some tummy tucks again. Leg lifts, just keep it up and try and do some walking as well. As much as you can, it all s burn off the calories and change those numbers for you. You CAN do it and we are going to you all we can.


We take our measurements and weight once a month. Then we post it in our special room which I will send out the key to for everyone. I first have to check and make sure it is still there. I will pm the key to you all. On the 19th of each month we do this but maybe we should change the date so everyone has a fresh start.
Mechele, what do you think, and Gretch and Misty?? Should we leave it at the 19th or change it?

Anyhow, we will decide on a date and then if the room is still there which it probably is, I will pm the key to everyone.

You bet your sweet buns I'm gonna be all over you about that cola -- or as New Yorkers call it "soda"!! (I'm a born and raised Indiana Hoosier and NW Indiana Hoosiers call it POP!!!!). Just what do you mean you are having trouble giving it up????? Just don't buy it then you have no choice but to get used to the water!!!! Listen up girlie ... if I can give it up while the rest of my family continues drinking it right in front of me ... then you certainly can too!!!!! An occasional pop is fine just not every single day!!!

As for the date ... the 19th is kind of an odd time ... how about the 1st or 15th of each month -- bill paying time LOL -- might me remember to post.
