1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
2. In a large bowl, combine broth with garlic powder and black pepper. Add potato spears and toss to coat well. S a baking sheet with vegetable cooking s. Arrange potatoes in a single layer, and bake 20 to 25 minutes, turning frequently, until crisp-tender.
