Just for kicks, I thought I'd show you a few snowflakes I've been making lately. They're crocheted with bedspread cotton. I placed them on a small padded mailer to give an about their sizes.

My mom used to make those. Do you starch yours? I have some of her older ones that she would dip in a starch compound that also had really fine glitter in it. They are pretty !

I wouldn't have the patience to make those. Way to go!

It takes between half an hour and an hour to make one of these. I dip them in a starch compound, sometimes with glitter, sometimes not.

After the first of the year, my plan is to start a small Christmas shop with hand made ornaments and other handmade items, so each item will be in limited supply. Hope I'm not biting off more than I can chew LOL.
