Hi, right now I'm having fun w/ beading. I've made a really nice anklet, that has actually stayed together and some bracelets. What I'm working on now (besides a cake decorating class and having tons of fun w/ my

press {if you do the Joe Corbi Grandma Corbi

dough, the Crayola kind is great to use w/ the press)
Anyway, I'm working on bracelet using safety pins. I used 2 different color beads, put them on a safety pin. 3 of 1 color, 3 of the next and then 3 of the 1st color. Since I'm doing a silver theme, I used silver safety pins and spacers. The bead colors are a bluish green and a cornflower blue in the middle. Then on an elastic string, I put a silver spacer, then a beaded safety pin and alternated them the whole way around. I haven't figured out how many safety pins I need yet, as I'm not that far. But the pattern from using the 2 different colored beads look great so far. Looks like I sewed the beads, when I just strung them on the pins! Then I will do the same thing w/ the spacers and other end of the pins on another elastic band. Can't wait to figure out how I'm going to fasten it.
I got the

from Michaels.com They have instructions for many types of projects on there.
