Christmas Travel Checkers
You’ll need:
24 clear flat glass “marbles” (the kind that’s put in vases) or 24 ½ inch wooden disks
metal box
red, green, and black paint
small paintbrush
white s
paint
masking tape or painter’s tape
48 ¼ inch magnets

paint the metal box white; let dry. Use the tape to make a grid on the lid of the box, making 64 squares. Paint alternate squares black. Remove the tape when dry. Paint red stockings on the bottom of 12 marbles or the top of 12 disks, and green trees on the other 12. Adhere the magnets to the bottoms of the pieces when dry. Place the checkers in the box, and the game is good to go!
