I thought Valentine's Day might be hard on some of my single neighbors. So i put Hershey's Kisses in plastic spoons, wrapped them in plastic wrap and used red ribbon to secure them to the doorknobs of my single . On each one i attached a note:
You may not get boxes of candy
from movie stars, that's true.
But here's a spoonful of es
from a caring friend for you!
''Happy Valentine's Day".
This project eased my own sense of loss, and the grateful responses from the brightened my day.
