Smile mailbox

Hello, everyone, i'm new here, and have a craft question. Does or can anyone tell me what to make out of an old mailbox? Thank you so much.

Hmm. good question. I dont' know of any crafts right off hand but you could nail it on top of a post in your yard and put in some dirt and a plant that will hang as it grows. You could paint the outside with pictures of flowers or birds. Just an . Hope someone can you out.

Dianne after reading what you posted on the forum "what is your favorite craft to do",I believe you. You sound very creative and talented. I can't wait to hear more, hint, hint.

I am not at all creative....I can make something if I have directions, but to come with something on my own....NO WAY! I was even just telling my husband that last night

I was going to suggest a plant too. Or paint it and put it in the house somehow to put things in....like upcoming bills or something.

I also saw in a magazine yesterday, which inspired me to tell my husband I wish I had a brain for turning "junk" into something...an old mailbox turned into a birdfeeder.

I bet it would make a cute birdhouse, or perhaps, clean it up and paint it and use it for bill or mail storage in your home. Or, in the garage or workshop it could be use creatively to store things. Sounds like it is going to be fun to use it again!

To tell you the truth, i'm like Becky there, i cant make nothing until i see the directions first and sometimes that does'nt work, you have to show me detail by detail. I'm very slow sometimes, part of being a woman i guess, ha, ha.
