Thumbs up Holiday Crafts (the second one)

Maddie, I think your Mother will be blessed to get this present from you. My daughter made calendars last Christmas for her mother-in-law and I with pictures of our grandkids doing different things in that time frame in the past years. Some were new pics and others were from when they were born. I will put these into a scrap book after the year is over.

calendar

She made our last Christmas and her mother-in-law lives about 100 miles away so she doesn't get to see the kids as much as I do. Her whole family had a fit over it. These two that are here are her only two grandchildren as of yet so you know the great-grandparents loved seeing it also. I forgot to tell you she gave each of us a scrapbook so that when the year is up, we can put these pages into the book and have them forever.

how about a collage picture of the two of you together. You could make it as big as poster size or as small as a 5x7. The guys I know don't really go in for scrap books but the collage picture they could put anywhere. You can even use those little cloud type things to put funny or romantic wording in to make it even more personal. The calendar is another if you can remember which months the pictures were taken and put them in it. Or maybe, start with January as the beginning of your relationship and work your way to December showing how it has bloomed.
Hope this s,
Hugz,

I have a family album and a album of pictures of me and my hubby when we were dating and pictures of just the both of us and vacations that we take alone.
Its fun to dress up the pages with colored pages and stickers and stamps.
Have fun!

Wink HELP...........DESPERATE MOM ALERT

I'm trying to find an easy and inexpensive gift for the little ones in our son's Kinder cl*** for Thanksgiving. My original thought was maybe making placemats for them to use for their Thanksgiving meal and on the reverse side, a Christmas theme. That way they would be able to use them throughout the holiday season. Does anyone have any s or patterns that they would be willing to share?
They need to be relativly easy and quick. I have quite a large fabric "stash" so changing fabrics to make them a bit different isn't a problem.
I thought that maybe a cornicopia or turkey on one side and Santa's face on the other would be neat but I haven't a clue where to start.
PLEASE me!!! I'll be so d with any , s and/or patterns y'all can give. THANK YOU!

PerkyPet, try kidsdomain.com. They have coloring pages that you could turn into patterns.

I'm doing Christmas placemats with the kids in our children's church, along with other crafts. We're using construction paper, Christmas stickers, and clear contact paper.
