There are a few that are real family favorites that I make...I think the top two are my Chili and Spaghetti Sauce. The only difference between the two is cumin and chianti. Well, that's not the only difference, there are other seasonings, but they're almost the same w/the meat, tomato, onion & garlic.
I love this easy soup recipe:
Southwestern Vegetable soup (Its a real winner)
Can of crushed tomatoes
can of corn (drained)
can of green beans (drained)
can Rotel tomatoes
4 oz. can green chilies
can of

en broth or one boullion cube with 1 cup water
3 cups water
1 package taco seasoning
1 cup monterey jack cheese
6 oz. of corn tortillas cut into strips
Can of

en breast (in water) or prepared ground beef are OPTIONAL. I PREFER using the

en, it adds a terrific element to the soup.
Combine cans w/water and seasoning. Bring to a gentle boil and allow to simmer for 10 minutes. Then slowly add tortilla strips and cheese. Serve when cheese is melted and tortillas are soft.
I probably make this recipe once a week or so and there's always leftovers to enjoy for the next day's lunch.
We call this the "dump dump dump" soup b/c we're just dumping cans in a pot.
LOVE this soup.
Y'all try it, make it a family favorite at your house.
