Better Cooking of Stemmed Veggies

Always place the stems of vegetables, for example,
cauliflower, broccoli, facing the outside of the dish.
The stems are tougher than the flower, so this will
ensure even cooking because microwaves cook
from the outside of the dish, in toward the center.
