Do What with Charcoal?

Do What with Charcoal?

It's surely not the height of grilling season yet but here's
a great way to take advantage of some of that leftover
charcoal...as a foolproof way to keep your refrigerator from
smelling like the leftovers.

Just grab a few briquettes from the bag and put them in a
bowl in the back of the refrigerator. The charcoal absorbs
any odors, and you just change them every few months. Now
there's a tip that you can use all year!

This is a good tip. I have heard this before and have tried it. Charcoal does take odors out. It does work!

We also use charcoal when closing up my parents trailer for the winter. Just place it in a bowl and it will absorb moisture there too.
