1/3 C. shortening
1/3 C. sugar
1 egg, slightly beaten
2/3 C. honey
1 t. vanilla
2-3/4 C. flour
1 t. baking soda
1 t. salt

Thoroughly mix first 5 ingredients. Stir in flour, baking soda and
salt. Chill. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly grease baking
sheet. Roll dough into balls the size of walnuts. Place on
sheet. Dip bottom of glass in flour. Use bottom to flatten
