Question question, please help

OK, I already know that htis is probably sound like a dumb question. Do you know how I can get back the bar accross the top of my screen with the date, time and other stuff? I have no what I did but it is not there anymore. Hopefully you know what I am talking about. Thank you in advance.

Wink task bar

First try to put your mouse down at the bottom and when it turns into an arrow hold down the left button and drag it back up. i hope this works

That's what you should try first but try the top since you mentioned that it was located at the top.

I assume that you're talking about your 'Start' bar? If so, right click on the part where the time should be and you should get a menu with the option "toolbars" on it. Click on that and you should see something to the effect of "show time and date" or "adjust time and date". Click on that and it should bring it back up for you. Sometimes, also, just rebooting your computer will reset the defaults. ;)

Gosh, this brings back memories of when I lost my task bar. That's the official name for the bar at the bottom... I looked.
I freaked out. I clicked the mouse and it appeared on the left hand side, I clicked again then it was on the right, then it went to the top, then it took up half my window. Sheesh.
Kevin, my oldest, was like STOP mom, quit freaking out.
Well, it's back to normal. That was several years ago.
Sometimes I click to open a new window and it'll be just a square since one time I was typing so fast I hit ctl something or shift something and it put all my windows on my desktop. It was pretty , but distracting. I've never fixed it since I don't know what I did in the first place. It doesn't usually do it now anyway unless I use IE.
Glad you got your problem fixed. Sometimes it seems the 'end of the world' when my computer does something I told it to do without know I did...follow me?
