I could just scream!!!!! I just had to re-enter my entire address book. It was there yesterday but today I went to send something and the whole thing was wiped out. No what happened. I know that I probably missed a few when I was typing them in. Hopefully I got them all but not sure. Just needed a place to complain. Thanks for listening.

Sorry to hear about this Amy. I am glad you got your addresses all in that you know of anyhow. I have never heard of this happening before. I just copied all mine the other day and am going to print them out so I have them. I am always afraid of losing them too. This way, I will have them if I ever need them.

I have never heard of this happening either.I learned a great lesson when my hard died and had to be replaced.It was factory defective so the replaced it,but I still lost everything.I now keep my address book and my pictures on floopy disk.You can also put them on CD too.

Bummer Amy!! I have never heard of that either. I wonder what could have happened. A great place for computer tips and is Worldstart.com, just thought I'd let everyone know. You can even post questions and you'll get alot of . There are alot of very smart and nice people there. I used to go there all the time before I found momzone, now I just can't get past this site. Also if you sign up for their mailing list you get tips every day in you email and they have alot of great offers on computer software. They have really great deals!!! You just have to act fast because they are so good they sell out really quick!! I've ordered from them before and they are very reliable. Carol, that was a good tip too!! I am bad, I haven't backed anything up because I am soooo not computer smart, I really don't know where to begin. Like what are the best floppy disks, what do you back up etc. Any would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I am not so computer smart either Polly,but when I lost everything in my windows(pictures,documents,address book)My adult son gave me a serious lecture about backing up anything that I did not want to lose.I personnally use Memorex floppys but you can buy some that are cheaper and seem to work just as well.You can also put your stuff(pics,addy book,documents) on a cd.You have lots more room on a cd.I like floppys because I can catorigize(sp) my pics that way.Hope this s!!!
