Smile Christmas Traditions

red
We started last night (Saturday, Nov. 29th) by decorating the house for Christmas, today being the first day of Advent. We are reading, "Jotham's Journey's" this year which we will read each day up until Christmas day. Each Sunday -we will light our advent candle too. Today was the Faith candle.

Each child only receives three presents from us - as that is the number of presents presented to the Christ child. Also keeps them from thinking Christmas is about the gifts.

Christmas Eve is spent at church participating in the candlelight service, then over to a home. We routinely don't get home until about 1:30-2AM. Then when we do, each child has a gift waiting for them on their bed, it is a box of new p.j.'s. So when we do open presents in the , they look good for pictures. LOL.

Seems there is more -but right now that is all I can think of.

God bless all, enjoy your holidays and your children.

We always get pjs on Christmas Eve but that is about the only tradition that is kept every year. I am hoping to start some more this year.

Yes, That is a tradition. Anything you do every year is a tradition.
