Please help with this I really need an input.

While my husband is having a ball in Mexico. I am going nuts here with my daughter. Lately she has developed a rash that makes her face reddish purple. I have taken her to the doctor and when I am there since I have to wait so long it fades away. I am baffled the only thing I can think of is a chair that her father gave her. Some lady eh knows gave it to him and every time she goes and touches the chair she gets that rash all over her face. I was in the hospital on Monday until 5 am Tuesday and to no avail. Tonight she had it again and it also went in her hand. She is resting now I gave her the combination that the hospital prescribed they gave her prednisone and benadryl and it seems to work. Now the dilema is the chair, she likes it and says if there is any way to clean it. Tomorrow I am cleaning the whole room and I would like to know what can I do about the chair. Since throwing it out is not an option yet.

What kind of material does the chair have Luz? I am wondering if maybe you could take the covering off and put another covering on instead maybe? I really don't know what to tell you. Obviously your daughter is allergic to the material or something in the chair.

Do you have a carpet clear with attachments that your could clean it with, assuming of course it is fabric. Is she allergic to animals such as cats the previous owner may have had one. if so you could vacuum it and put it outside for a couple of days and let the sun disinfect it.

Angela I did vacum it but I cannot put it outside because, I live in a high rise apartment on the 28th floor.I did sprinkled baking soda on it. Now I am going to try Woolite for fabric and rugs to see what happens. I will keep you posted.
