My family and I were not hit by the flood. I'm thankful for that.
The boy's missed one day of school and were released early today.
The water has gone down in most areas.
The rivers around here, well, in most parts of the world that have been diverted over the years just want to go where they want to go.

Glad you are okay Ellie. What a mess there is there with all that water. It really looks like a nice place without all that water of course. Hope things get cleared up quickly.

South of us has been hit way worse. Or, it looks worse anyway.

There's a town in the shadow of Mt. Rainier called Orting. They evack'd the whole town!
