HELP! I don't know what to fix!

I am taking my children to my new boyfriend's house for the New Year. I have to fix a New Year's feast and beyond black eyed peas, I don't know what to fix. What do ya'll fix for New Years??? Please HELP!

Does he like ham? You could always bring a nice ham with mashed potatoes, veggies and a dessert. Like cheesecake maybe.
We have turkey at Christmas and then for New Years we have ham or whatever. We don't make a big meal that day.
You will come up with something I am sure. Enjoy your day with him and the family.

Thanks guys! MRS FISH!!! Good to see you back too.

I was in some SERIOUS country and could not post on the computer BUT I could read your suggestions!

We made corned beef and cabbage, regular black-eyed peas and then I made this recipe with black eyed peas, sausage, garlic, onions...it was good. Plus buttered potatoes and homemade bread. YUMMM
