Hi Ladies

For most of you I know on this board a lot of new faces too. I wanted to let you know of a website called Soliers

s.com I just started doing this a month ago. You apply to adopt a soldier takes a day or couple and they send you a soldiers name and you send cards and letters and care boxes.

I hope to hear from mine but Im not sure where he is in Iraq he might not be near a computer to send me an email or cant write a letter from where hes stationed. Sometimes you hear from them and sometimes you dont but there are over 35 soldiers who need

Please consider checking it out and adopting one or two I cant afford to do more than one but they are there defending us its a little piece of home that we can send them

Please all consider doing it my kids love it they send notes and pictures and such.

You go to www.soldiers

s.com and on the left corner it says adopt a soldier and you fill out the form. Now it says you can make a donation to process your application faster but you dont have to because I didnt and in a few days they will send you the adoption information. and then you can sign up on the soldiers

s boards and get

s for care packs and such. Every little bit

Oh THank you for doing this I know none of us are Happy about this war and I know all these men and woman have limited family and some are as young as 19 Im not sure what the guys age that I have.but I send a card weekly and im getting paid friday so Ill go to the store and start to get stuff for care pack.

I found out that the post office here has prorated boxes that you can get and make sure you get a white shipping paper to write down everything thats inside the box the post office then will only charge you the price of the box that you purchased. and they put the packing slip right on the front of the box so customs knows whats inside.

The website has some great

s for care pack stuff so I sent two small boxes last time and Ill do the same again.

I hope more of you do it even if you only send cards and stuff they love to hear from people to know they are not forgotten hope some of you others momzone moms will

Thats great Im sure your soldier will be very greatful to hear from someone outside family and know others care. From what I hear some are getting really stressed and depressed. I hope at some point mine will write to me and let me know if he likes what I sent him but they told me to not be surprised if I never do .

I applied and I am waiting for approval. I think is the nicest thing we can do for these men and women. We complain about the economy and situation at home but, we are not in any imminent danger they are and we must support them without prejudice or question.

Oh Thank you so much for doing that I really appreciate it and your soldier will too . You will here in a day or so they are usually quick about getting you the info. I just mailed acare package the other day and I mailed a card out yesterday I usually send a card weekly and a care pack or 2 every couple of weeks. I go to my dollar store for stuff they have a lot of good stuff they like. I really appreciate you doing that. Hope more do it.

Got my soldier and I will mail his letter tomorrow. I am so excited. My husband being the jerk he is, is not and I really don't care these guys need our support.They are risking their lives for people that sometimes are very ungrateful.
