Well....today I did it. I walked five and a half miles....somebody slap me.
Anyway...I am on the way to getting healthy. SO...I walked from my house to my mom's and back. It was fun. My two younger ones walked with me....they are healthy, , but they were whining by the time we were almost home. My legs hurt but I am happy I did it. I will be healthier before you know it....I am not gonna let this weight beat me, I am gonna beat it! (Reminds me of a michael jackson song...)

Good for you Lulu. I walked over yesterday to my son's and pushed the two kids in the stroller. Talk about a time maneuvering a double stroller. It had a mind of its own on which way it wanted to go.
Take a walk my way sometime. I might even meet you half way. Say this time next year we should meet up?

Wonder how long it would take us to walk to your house DeeDee? I will have to try it sometime...I figure probably would take us about six months maybe??? I guess if Hilary gets elected, I better put my tennis shoes on and head out! You ready for four crazies plus two dogs?

Oh hurry on then. I can handle the crazies but the dogs as long as they don't bite might be okay. Yeah if Hillary gets in I would be running too.
Wouldn't that be something if we could meet half way sometime? Walking that is. I sure wouldn't do it alone though. too many scarey people out there.
Hmmm six months, now sure how long it would take and I am not even sure by car how long it would take. I am going to find out how long it takes by car from here to Virginia Beach. My ex=daughter in law lives there and she will know. I will get back to you on that one.

My dogs are big babies! You would love them. I forgot you had a daughter in law (ex) here. Too funny! Small world, huh?

About 2 1/2 hours....I go up there quite a bit since my sister lives just outside of Richmond! Very, very !

Okay, this is what my ex dil told me.
I thought she was in Richmond but she is not.
Virginia Beach is about an hour and a half from my house. The tornados that hit one was 5 minutes from my work..I work in Hopewell VA and one of the tornados touch down in Colonial Heights VA it was scary. But where I live in Highland Springs VA we just got rain. We all left work early on Monday.
To travel by car from my house to Pembroke is about 13 hrs.
So guess we had better start walking if we want to meet up before next winter. Do you think we can do it?

Today the kids and I walked 3.4 miles. It was fun. We walked to our favorite restaurant, ate sensibly, then walked home. I love walking with them. They are fun, funny and just darn the best date for a Friday evening! I don't know how I got so lucky having wonderful kids like I do.

I really need you to be my neighbor you know. I need a walking partner in the worst way.
Tiffany was supposed to start walking with me but she started on a program to lose weight and she isn't to walk that much. Go figure.
My other daughter in law said she will walk with me but she works so much I hate to bother her.
So that leaves you lulu, "Won't you be my neighbor?" Remember Mr. Rogers?
