Smile Hello...

~~ Temper--- Temper Mickie ~ Something may have slipped out of my slick mouth ! I probably would have felt bad afterwards though. Tomorrows Thursdays recycling day. I wonder what he's got up his sleeve for my bottles and cans???

Well things come out of my mouth too but I can get my point across just fine without using those words.

Hope your cans and bottles stay where they are supposed to.

In the entire 2 years that I have lived here, she has NEVER once said hello, waved or even acknowledged my existance.

Coming from a military familiy, that situation is sooo common. He is probably retired navy and he is her ticket to America. They really don't like white people! Filipino women can be very rude. I see them all the time. I work for the gov't too, so I still see it. They truly hate white women especially. Jealous I'm sure. The joke around my work is when a guy here has his filipino mail order bride finally coming to America, the rest of the guys say, you wait till she gets here. She'll become ized and turn into a "B" and leave you. The guys that do this will no let them or usually have jobs.

Once years ago, my family lived on base in Long Beach. I was 8. Once we played ding dong ditch (1 time) at this ladies house. She was filipino and a navy wife. Didn't even know english I think. Anyway, after we did that, we ran back next door to my house and sat on the porch. This lady comes out of knowwhere screaming!! Walks up to my friend who was sitting next to me and starting kicking him and kicking him. I was horrified!! I screamed until my Mom came and she comes out and says what the hell are you doing. My friend was on the ground the whole time and she stood over him kicking him. Caused him whiplash in the process. Needless to say, that family was kicked out of housing.

I am not racists, but my experiences and observations have lead me to a general characterization of them.

Smile Hello...

WOW... I can understand how you feel.. I even know some regular old white people to have tempers like that! Takes all kinds I guess???? My neighbor has slowed down on his recycling organization. He's completely into his yard now. Leaf pickup is right around the corner. When I drag my full bags to the street next week, I can't imagine what he'll do? I know he has something in store for those 10 ton bags.... LOL

Ok, I am curious as to what your neighbors are up to now ladies. I don't have neighbors that are taht close. There are woods between us and the neighbors but everyone here pretty much minds their own business unless a pet goes missing or something. We will call each other if we have a stray and see if it belongs to one of us. But reading your posts has made me realize I don't think I want to move to town. We were looking at houses in the nearest town and now I think I'm glad we didn't find anything we really liked in our price range, .

Smile Hello...

Stay where you are Polly, it sounds perfect! Well for fathers day me and the kids bought Poppy a new grill. Our old one was so bad we actually called it the death grill. Flames would come out of no where, and it was really deadly to cook on... So out the old grill went to the curb yesterday... Our neighbor 3 door down took the old grill from the trash (which is fine considering the garbage men left it there.)I know he took it for scrap, because scrap metal is nothing to sneeze about when you cash it in....So outside I am moving the front sprinkler when I here clack, clack, clack coming down the road. I look up and see the guy bringing the base of the grill and the wheels back to my garbage area. He looked at me and said is this where the old grill came from? I said yes, and it's your garbage now... He says my friend told me to bring this back. I say tell your friend to park that in front of his own garbage area. Off he went, and now the grill base looking good and is sitting in the front of his house. My hole point was why should he make a few dollars on scrap, and I'm stuck with busting up the base and bagging it so th G-men will take it? (WACKY NEIGHBORS)

Right you are Mickie. He took it so its his junk now, not yours. The nerve of some people.

Where we live now, we have good neighbors. One side is very friendly, a single guy who we hardly ever see, the other side a married couple with 3 kids that never speak. That makes it easy to get along.

Oh Mickie, you have a great way with words, I was ing as I read this. And that is amazing that you told him it was his garbage now! Good for you!!

DeeDee that is so funny, you definitley can't if they don't talk, .

I guess my place is looking better all the time although, I don't have any funny neigbor stories to tell.

Oh wait, where I work we have neighbors, one day I had to them keep their horses off the main highway. they had gotten loose. Another day the neighbors on the other side pullled across the road and got into a big ol . He was cussing and carrying on and he opened her door and told her to get out and she shut the door, they did this 4 times before she finally got out and walked back to the house, then he went down the road with his arm waving out the window, cussing all the way. Five minutes later I went out to smoke and he was in their way in the car and he took off again , arm waving out he window, cussing up a storm. About an hour later, I went out again and saw the car off, looked like both of them in it. Then I didn't see either one of them for almost a week, I was starting to wonder then they popped back up. Hmmmm.

I'll just have to borrow other neighbors for my wacky neighbor stories, .

So true DeeDee,.

As I posted in the one of the other forums, we looked at a house this weekend and when we were leaving one of the neighbors came out and talked to Randy, he told Randy they have some hellacious parties up there, I think he was just kidding though, I hope, although Randy could 'smell' that he had been drinking so who knows? I could end up with some whacky neighbors if we move, .

Our neighbors at camp were there this weekend. There is a couple with 2 boys on one side of us and they share the camper with his parents, well the parents were in this weekend, never did get to meet his wife but had met him before when he came up with his son to work on the camper, well he was there to put in a new floor. The last time they worked on the roof, well, guess what, now their camper is leaking, but he went ahead and put the new floor in, didn't make sense to me but hey it's theirs, right? Anyway, he came over one and said they had left over hamburger gravy from breakfast and wanted to know if we wanted it. Summer and I love hamburg gravey so we took it since they were going to throw it away and I know he was trying to be neighborly since the last time I had fed him and his son. It was very good gravy! yum! The next day they were leaving and I had just dozed off on the couch and came and knocked on our door to tell us they were leaving. That did not earn him any brownie points with me! . I think Randy was a in the chair too,. Oh well, it was ok, becase five minutes later our from the other campground showed up too.

I actually only got to take one nap the entire trip. I had planned to take one every day! Maybe it was for the best so I didn't get too spoiled, .

You know it doesn't really matter where you move to, it seems we always end up with some wacky neighbor anyhow. I sure hope you don't though.

Sorry you only had one short nap while on vacation but yes you wouldn't want to get too spoiled now would you? It would be difficult to get back into the daily routine again.

So are you thinking of moving? If so, be sure to let us know your new address when you do.

So true DeeDee, yesterday at work I kept thinking it would be so nice to take a nap, but then I often think that at about 2 in the afternoon, .

I will definitely let you know my new addy if I move but looks like it will be put on hold for a while now. My realtor is going to kill me!!

Dont' worry about your realtor. They are used to hearing things like that. They have been in the business long enough to have lots of downfalls. Where they lose one sale, they gain another. Same with any business.
