Okay everyone, I need some s here. My son is breaking out on his own after 10 years of working for someone else and is starting up his own carpentry business. Him and another guy are going together. Now what I am looking for are some catchy s for a business name for him.
He builds new homes, does framing, etc. everything there is to do with a new home. So any s you can come up with for a catchy name would be great.
I am not sure what your son's name is, but my father-in-law had a trusted business just like the one you described for over 30 years. He called it:

A kind of catchy but silly one I saw:
Rent-A-Man Handyman Services
Maybe you could tell us your son's first name and this other guy's first name. One reliable contractor I use (as I am in construction) is a combination of the two men's last names and is now a formidible force in the area.
I wish your son the best of luck!!! Make sure he incorporates so he won't be held personally responsible for the problems but the company will.

My son's name is Chad and his partner will be Sean. It will be my son's business though, they are not working it as partners. Sean will be working for my son, not as a partner in the business. So it is going to be Chad's company strictly. They have worked together for the last 10 years and know what they are doing but Sean doesn't want to get into the business side of it. He just wants to be an employee.

yes Ellie I am very proud. Chad is my son though and I am very proud of him and my other two sons also. They have all done well for themselves. I am very proud of my 6 grandsons too.

He is still working on getting the money he needs to get started. He has all the tools he needs now and is ready to go. It wont' be long I dont' think.
Wow , it sounds like he is almost there. That is pretty exciting and scarey too I'm sure. From what I've heard about your boys, I'd say it will be a big success. You'll have to keep us up to date when he gets started. We will all be pulling for him. Too bad we can't hire him to do some work though, I guess that would be too far to travel, .
