I personally don't know of any but I know my 5 year old daughter would love this . If you want they can become penpals. It would give them computer experience, e-mail experience (I would even set up her won e-mail) - (monitored of course), spelling, beginning writing and just having fun. Let me know if you are interested. My daugter is in the beginning stages or reading and writing, so this would be great practice with a purpose.

Betsy, try the website about.com. You can pretty much find anything there.
Other wise...I don't know. You could always google and see what pops up?

Angry Searching myself

While searching myself for penpals for my daughter I have found mostly email penpals. I am having troubles finding anything that is snail mail. When I bring up email she tells me no email. If you know of anyone ages 8-10 years of age who would want a girl penpal let me know.

Red face

Heidi,

My daughter is to young - (almost 6) but I remember when I was in school we were able to hook up with penpals. Does your daughters school have a librarian or gui counsler at school that may be able to . You never know - they just may have the rescources to do it.

I want my daughter to get some computer experience in learning how to write now that she's reading more so if anyone has a girl 5 or 6 that wouldn't mind e-mailing once a week, that would be fun way to learn to use the computer better (instead of just games).

Good luck Heidi - let me know if you come across anything and if I do I'll pass it along to you.

Robin

penpal for my daughter

Hi, We are from England and my daughter who is 8 and a half has been asking me to find her a penpal from another country as I have been telling her about all the penpals I had as a child.

She would love a penpal from the US, So if anybody has a daughter who would be interested in becoming a penpal preferbly by post but e-mail is ok, let us know and we can swop details.

Hope to hear from someone soon,
Sam
