What music are you listening to?

I am not sure what got into me, but I bought the brand new Jessica Simpson album. She did a remake of "Take my Breath Away". I just love it. There are actually several songs on here that I am enjoying. My daughter is ed I bought an album that is not 80's music or rock and roll!

Countrymama....I love Gretchen Wilson's redneck woman song too!

I'm also listening to Sara Evans "Suds in the bucket"...I can't get that song out of my head!

I'm also listening to all my 70's and 80's songs that I love!

My daughters love the Sara Evans, "Suds in the Bucket" too. Yesterday I recieved that Kenny Rogers Greatest Hits Cd in the mail. We saw the commercial and just had to order it! It is pretty good. I really like Kenny Rogers and surprisingly enough, so does my metal head DH.

For some reason I have been listening to a lot of 70's music lately at work. I guess because work has been stressful and who can't smile listening to disco?

Tonight my DH and I watched the 50 most awesomely bad songs on VH1. Now I have "I'm too Sexy" and the "Barbie World" song alternating in my head

lulu stop drooling on yourself. Harry Connick Jr. is hot and I love the way he sings.
The thing I am listening to now is 50's,60's,80's salsa music my parents had a collection of music and I listened to it. Now I am back to listening to it in CD form of course. People like Celia Cruz, Tito Puente, Tito Rodriguez, Machito,Pacheco, Barreto, Eddie Palmieri and El Gran Combo and the like. I love going back to my roots once in a while. Salsa by the way burns calories, I my a....s off.
