You won't be happy with more until you're happy with what you've got.
I am beginning to learn that it is the sweet simple things of life which are the real ones after all.
I ended up cooking up some chic-ken tenderloins, and then after cutting them up into bite sized pieces, throwing them in with some cooked shell type pasta, some cooked broccoli florets, a can of cream of broccoli soup, a can of chic-ken gravy and about a can of milk. It wasn't half bad. Once I found the cans of cooking soups and realized the expiration dates on them, I developed an urgency for using them.
My daughter liked it a lot and now we are trying to come up with a name for it. She has already said she would like to have it again - after eating 2 bowlfuls at dinner.
Now to figure out what to have tomorrow night. A friend is coming up to go to the regional job fair and he is staying for dinner, so it has to be something I can make a lot of quickly. Pasta is out, I guess I need to break out the wok and make a big batch of stir fried rice. Maybe throw the leftover barbeque pork into it. Sounds like I now have tomorrow night covered as well.
Hey Rusty! Good to see you!! We had grilled cheese...boring but fast!

Well I still never got out any thing to eat. but since it is going 8:00 I am ssure getting hungry. Maybe it will be a Tv. dinner. Healty choice pot oraost and carrots, and apple cobbler.
Still haven't made the spinach lasagna recipe yet! Tomorrow?
I had some corn, Duncan had corn & en soup. I ate too much carrot & raisin bread at snack time so I am not hungry.
I am tired!

tonight I had some Pizza , called Philly Steak Pizza, a and Rob, got it last night at a Pizza place, so they brought me over some for supper tonight. Yummy real good. I also had a hand ful of Lays potatoe chips
We had the pork fried rice. It was yummy! Picked up the frozen stir fry veggies and a can of baby corn as the add-ins. Much easier than doing all of that chopping myself. Also, picked up a spice packet of fried rice seasonings to add as flavor. Sure beats doing it all the long way.
We had Mesquite Grilled Chicken, rice and peas. It was simple but yummy.
(I would have rather had that pizza, Nancy!)

Well Lulu that Pizza was good, Not bad at all for reheated in the microwave.
I don't have the faintest what to even have for breakfast today, let alone, supper, I guess I will check a few of my emails, and cook me an omelet with cheese, and bacon bits, that won't be too bad.
We have several bits of leftovers in the refridgerator right now. So, I have declared that dinner tonight will be leftovers. I need some more room in fridge!
Nancy, great minds think alike! We too had cottage cheese with our dinner but we put canned pineapple on top. It was yummy. We also had a wonderfully green salad. I used a Sun Dried Tomato Vinagrette as dressing. It was so yummy!
