Two Pepcid AC and a tall glass of limeade. I had to work late so the kids had ramen noodles. Not sure what the DH fixed for himself. When we got home and got the kids fed their ramen noodles, I went straight into "Homework H#@LL" with my middle schooler. They gave her EIGHT word searches to do along with three other pages of fluff garbage. Oh well! Maybe I will get a REAL dinner tomorrow? Who's cooking for me????

Hubby and I went to KFC(Kentucky Fried Chicken) after his ballgame. I ordered their baked en with rice and green beans but I got mashed potatoes & gravy and coleslaw with my ckn breast. I asked wheres my rice and gren beans & they say oh that was a promotion from a month ago. I was trying to be good on my diet but had to eat that cuz I was hungry and we went thru thru.

Sorry to hear that your local KFC was so uncooperative and that they don't have a large variety of side . They should have given you that information when you placed the order not just given you what they chose. I would definitely report that problem to the regional manager.

Tonight, I am finally going to go to review the local pizza place that made it into the "Best of..." issue of the paper for which I write. I've been trying to get there all week for dinner, but it just didn't happen. I guess this is why I have a backlog of articles waiting at the paper - for the weeks that my schedule is . Next week I will submit 2 and then I will be back on track.

I TRIED to make waffles for dinner tonight BUT the dang wafflemaker made the pancakes taste like chemicals! I then ditched that plan and used the waffle batter to make pancakes BUT they tasted like soap as the griddle did not get rinsed properly! UGH!!! So, I gave up! They are having sandwiches for dinner. I cant mess those up!!! What a night!

Lulu, I am truly to hear of your difficulties in the kitchen tonight. We finally made it to the Pizza place I chose to review this week. This pizza was sooo good!!! Yummy doesn't begin to describe it. It is a family owned operation and these people know how to make pizza (NY style anyway). Reminded me if the pizzas my father and I ate when I was a child. It was really good! They also have take out and I'm fairly certain we will be using it in the future instead of fast food or chain food. Their subs looked absolutely delicious.

Chicken and twice baked potatoes

I hardly ever have anything planned. I get up, do breakfast, do lunch, and I'm full. So, dinner gets forgotten by me anyway. Then I get so frustrated when Spencer asks me what's for dinner. I usually don't know. UGH!! This time I did the whole en in the crockpot thing. There will be enough to add rice and veggies and cheese for a casserole tomorrow nite. Spencer hates casseroles. I just change the wording and add lot's of cheese and call it a bake. He's happy!

What a great to get a child past the whole name of something issue! Call it something else, too bad it won't work in my case. Unfortunately, now that my dtr is starting to prepare some of our meals, it is getting harder to get her to eat some of the she previously liked. She has discovered that they contain Mayonnaise (ewww! !).
I also like your planned overs for tomorrow night. Not only does it sound easy, but it relieves you of the necessity to come up with another tomorrow night.
Tonight we are going out to eat dinner some place nice because it is my birthday. I am hoping for Indian Cuisine. It would also be wonderful if I can get the family to dress up a bit for it.
