I have a sort of menu plan, but I'll be refining it (when I get around to it). I know what we're having for the next week as I make a list every Wednesday, but there isn't really a master plan to me decide what we'll have yet.

We're having spaghetti and garlic toast tonight.

We had pork chops, mashed yams, and salad. The yams had butter, allspice, and a wee bit of sugar in them, and the salad was spinach, cabbage, carrot, and sugar pea. Yum!

I had planned to have tacos, but...my darling dtr ficed herself one for lunch and used all the sour cream. That also left too few tortillas. So, I stopped by the bread store and picked up some hamburger buns and we had cheeseburgers instead.
Tomorrow's lunch will be cheese quesadillas and I think dinner will be a roast en as it is one of the only days this week where we will all be eating together at home.

We haven't eaten together as a family for the last two weeks because my DH is working the 3-11 shift. It'll be that way for at least 3 more months. Our Base went and sent too many TDY and a good part of the rest are on leave. But he can heat up dinner when he gets home, and Ivy and I are worth good food. Heck, even if it weren't for Ivy, I'm worth it.

Blessed be, Chandra

Not sure what it will be tonight. We have to go over the MIL's house for dinner so I suppose I better get busy and make a dessert to take along as I am the only one who can make that.

We're having "yellow" tonight for dinner. Chicken and rice with saffron, yellow squash, and salad with honey mustard dressing.

It turned out to be "roast me" for dinner. I did not stick around for dessert.

I just started a new thread for those who do not eat regularly as a family. Please respond there as I don't want to get off the topic here. But, I am curious as to what you do instead - if anything as a substitute. Thanks
