1 1/2 pounds hamburger meat
cheese crackers crushed
splash or 2 of A-1 sauce
splash or 2 of ketchup
squirt or 2 of brown mustard
garlic powder
salt and pepper
1 egg
onion diced
bacon cooked and crumpled
mix all together
take half of the mixture and put in meatloaf pan
top with cheddar cheese
add the rest of the mixture on top
cook at 350 degrees for an hr
add cheese to top of loaf and cook till melted
I just came up with this recipe on my own........so I dont have exact mesurements..........
it is really good tho.......

Well, I got mad after I picked up my daughter from her tutoring so I am NOT making dinner! I am on strike! The kids had ham and cheese rolled up in a tortilla and heated and I made my sweetie scrambled eggs and sausage!
My daughter's grades are not very good and I am all over her now! Aarrghh!

I cheated and picked up Chinese food tonight. Just had one of those cravings and didn't feel like cooking. Of course, I made Kylan Turkey, green beans, and carrots for dinner. We ate later.

We are grabing salad and wings from the local pizza shop tonignt because we have to run to store to pick up more milk and lunchmeat (not sure how we ran out of that but) just glad I dont have to cook!

Countrymama, just wondering how your meatloaf turned out? Did u but in the add ins that I gave u or your own? If your own what did u do with it? Love to hear!
Today is payday, we normally get pizza.........have it delivered....my favorite is pazone's from Pizza Hut........I get sausage,mushrooms, green peppers and onions......Mmmm Mmmm Gooooood
No I didnt use your recpie this time but do plan on trying it.
I had already made mine on Sunday for last night. when we went grocery shoping i bought a few bulk meat items and put them in freezer after I repacked them using the food saver.
Anyway I used plain bread crumbs (i dont normally use these) some Emeral Original Seasoning, and some Salad Supreme (by McCormicks) I couldnt tell you how much of each I used as i just put them in randomly. it was yummie!!!!! but next time I will make sure I get a leaner meat as it was greesy although not as much as it usually is. maybe becuase it was a big loaf, it made a whole in the middle of itself when it cooked I found this out when I was slicing it.

Countrymama, I did forget to tell u to use a leaner meat on the recipe that I gave u too, cuz of the bacon............my mother uses bread crumbs too.....I always liked her meatloaf too...Glad yours was a success..........
That sounds soo good right now! I have been for two days and haven't eaten much of anything. I caught Kylan's stomach virus. NOT FUN!! I can't wait to post what I had for dinner when I get better. It will probably be all of the above! I will be so hungry by then!!!

Misty, you can alway's try that en recipe that i posted on here a while, i'm sure it would go over good with your family, ha, ha. No, i guess i will fix hamburgers tonight, something simple on friday night's. Then get ready to sit and rent movies, and eat popcorn, gotta have my popcorn.
