Last night I made baked rotini with mozzarella, cheddar, and provolone cheese. It was pretty good, but I used up all of my tomato sauce. I guess I will have to spend part of Saturday making up a new batch. Well, maybe my DD will finally be interested in learning how to make it this time.
Tonight my DD has her writing group and will be spending the night with a friend, so it will just be the DH and myself for dinner. I am not sure what to make. Maybe we will just pick up burgers or some other fast food to eat while we watch the election results.
We ended up going to an Oriental restaurant tonight (I think I would have preferred a burger and fries from Wendy's). It was good, just not what I was in the mood for tonight.
Well, I am off to check the most recent election results. Even though the polls have officially closed, I know that people currently in line will still get to vote, so there can be nothing official from VA until the last precinct reports their final results.
I am just hoping that we don't end up dragging out the results of this election like we have in the past. It would be nice to wake up tomorrow and know who actually won this time. Even if the Electoral College doesn't actually vote until much later and they are the ones who get to actually decide who becomes the next President.
Congratulations to your son, Lulu! That takes a lot of work to do.
Last night we all fended. It is actually my week to cook, but I wasn't feeling well. Nothing wrong, just not in the mood to do anything after working, , and taking the DD to cello and back.
This , I am teaching my DD how to make tomato sause from scratch, but for dinner we are having en vegatable soup - which will also be tomorrow night's dinner as we have a front coming through.
Nancy, your dinner sounds Yummy!
We had the last of the en veggie soup, but I added about a cup of rice to it while it cooked to make it a bit more filling. We had the frozen Pillsbury French Rolls with it. They are incredible with soup. I'll have to remember to clip more of those coupons.
Tonight is my DD's turn to cook and since she hasn't posted her week's menu yet, I have no what we are having for dinner. Whatever it is, it will have lots of veggies as a part of it. She loves veggies.
