Well I got lucky last night. I went during the day with my daughter Angela to a flea market where my cousin has a booth, then after we visited and bought some things at the flea market, we went to meijers, Then I went to her house to check out her new computer. they never had one of their own. So they are so happyl It is a beautiful machine, with a 22 inch screen. Real nice. Alien sorround sound.. Real neat.. Any way back to what I had for dinner. Next My daughter and son in law, took me out to Lucky's Steak house. A real nice place .. Any way. We had these 14 oz New York Strip Steaks, a loaded baked potato, and a nice salad. with blue cheese dressing, and 3 big coconut shrimp.. It was delicious. also some special garlic home made bread they make.. It was so good. I have left overs. did not even eat half the steak. It was really big.. I will eat left overs tonight.. .
<fainted>................Mechele...is that you? WELCOME BACK!!!!!!!!!!!! Dinner sounds so YUM...I want some!
We had....well...not really sure. You see....my dad invited us over for dinner and made a casserole. I ate it. It was good. I dont wanna know what was in it. He is 74 and diabetic and quite, shall we say, "inventive" in the kitchen. I will leave it at that.
Good to see you all!

subway sounds good, I have not had one in a long time.. I love the steack and onions. with cheese.. Yummy.
I am having a baked potatoe and not sure what else for lunch.. Better get on it thought..
I agree with Nancy ... if it tasted good ... that's all that mattered. LOL You're braver than I am though ... knowing he likes to be inventive I'd be quite hesitant to try anything.
Nancy ... you're right ... you got lucky!! I'm sure you enjoyed dinner.
Polly -- it's so incredibly simple it's ridiculous. Here ya go:
I usually get Banquet's popcorn en -- in the red bag. I put them in a toaster oven (the oven works just as well -- I just prefer the toaster oven in the warmer months so it doesn't heat up my kitchen) and crisp them up. While they are crisping up I make butter and herb instant poatotes. I use Aldi's butter and herb instant potatoes ... they are cheap and yummy). I use a little extra milk so they don't come out all rubbery LOL. I microwave some frozen corn. I plop a dollup of potatoes into the bottom of a bowl, sprinkle the popcorn en on top of it, pour some corn on top of that and then comes the gravy. It's your preference. I use en gravy for mine and brown/beef gravy for my mom and hubby (the kids eat it without gravy). I pour the gravy on top of the corn ... I like lots LOL. Then I sprinkle cheddar cheese on top of that. That's all there is to it!!!
Well that seems esay enough Polly.. We will all have to try it sometime..
tonight, I am having a baked potatoe with the works, and not sure what else. I had a little chex mix. I might have some nice canned fruit, maybe pineapple.. That sounds good. Maybe a burger.. or made like hamburger steak with onions..
Tonight I had a sausage, egg and cheese hot pocket at my mom's house.
