Well, this a.m. I found out why I needed chocolate yesterday - Yep! Another period. Today has been easier to stay on my Atkins program. I fixed some bacon along with 2 burgers topped with American cheese for myself tonight. My dd had pizza rolls before heading to her writer's workshop, and the dh fixed himself a couple of chimichangas with potato chips on the side once he got home.
I agree, the taco bake sounds very good - and it seems to be something I could eat on Atkins, too.
Lady, Sorry about your friend coming to visit.. I do not have that mess anymore.. I had an operation in 91. I had a pre cancerous condition. so they took everything..
Dinner sounds real tasty. We had a couple of soft tacos, they were good. and I had some sugar free candy.
Kids will be having pizza from Wal-mart shaped like Mickey Mouse heads. Not sure what I will have. Have to get ready for a PTA meeting. Tacos sure do sound good though.

tonight we went out to Old Country Buffet. We joined a eclub. they send you coupons to print for buy one get one free dinners. or other coupons and coupons on your birthday or anninversary. So any way we had a coupon bogo. so we went there. The coupons are good at fire mountain too. Angie, Myself, My Mom and Brother and Amy and Brit, all went to eat.. We ate all kinds of stuff. I really love their bread pudding. So had a littlle of that with a dab of ice cream.. The turkey tonight was delicious too.
Although we froze our butts off, we grilled out tonight! We had steak burgers and hotdogs. It was yummy!!!!!!

Since I am back on Atkins (after about a 3 month hiatus), I took my DH to Applebee's where we both had the Grilled Steak and Shrimp Combo. It was yummy, and I didn't have to cook. -
Atkins may be a bit boring, but I like the fact that the numbers on the scale are once again going down instead of up! I am hoping that by Easter I will weigh what I did at Christmas Eve. Then, I would like to lose another 20 - 30 pounds by the beginning of August, which if I can stick with Atkins long enough (3 - 4 months) shouldn't be a problem. Wish me luck and perseverence.
Sounds like a good dinner Lady.. doing a good job on the diet..
Lulu, sounds good too. Love those grilled burgers and hot dogs.. Yummy. we grill in the winter and summer.. Usually one of my kids grills, so I do not have to stand out in the ..
tonight we had burgers, but we cooked them in a pan on the stove, and we had green beens, and a salad..
Tonight I did a Three Pepper Chic ken stir fry with parmesan noodles and creamed corn. I also made a recipe I saw Paula Deen do yesterday on the Food Network called Zucchini Custard Bake. It was yummy!

that sounds good Lulu.. I seen Paula dean making that. I though that sounds good. i may try it sometime..
'tonight we had some left overs from the resturant yesterday. We had fish and chips, and someone had a burger they did not eat. so we had that.. and some fried breaded mushrooms.
I picked up a small (1.14 pounds) pork roast from Sharp Shopper today. So, I am having that tonight. My DD seems to be suffering from her allergies, so she isn't really hungry, and DH has to attend a meeting at work or a lecture at school - I really didn't pay a lot of attention to the what of it - tonight, so he is eating on campus. I put the roast in the oven at 3 p.m. and hope it is done cooking by about 6 p.m. It was still partly frozen when it went in the oven so I am doubling + the time that I am cooking it. As I am still on Atkins I doubt I will have any sides with it. But, I have dropped 5 pounds since 3/3.
You sound like you are doing good on the adkins.. the roast sounds real good. I had a whopper and small fry. and diet coke. Brittany ( My grand duahgter ) ate half the fries, and 1/4 of the whopper. it was good for a change..
I cheated and bought Pizza Hut pizza tonight...yummy supreme pan pizza.

Tonight I had sliced roast beef wrapped around provolone cheese and nuked in the microwave. Kind of boring, but if keeps the scale going in the right direction, I will keep doing it.
I would love BK or Pizza Hut about now, but I need to wait until Monday night for pizza or a sub as that will be my next cheat day - due to a friend coming to visit and us going out to eat for her birthday. We have a new ice cream place in Staunton - home made ice cream and gelatto, etc. - and we will be going there for dessert after dinner. So, at least that is worth waiting for as a cheat day. I will miss eating candy on Easter this year, but that is okay as I can just put it away to eat on another cheat day when it arrives.
I had a big mac, and fry tonight. Just a quick supper. Good for you Lady. Staying on your diet. Nice to have a cheat day every once in a while, s to stay on the diet easier..
I made nice crusty french toast tonight and bacon. The kids really enjoyed it and I enjoyed the fast supper. It was nice as I was very tired. The clean-up was simple too!
