Since I have eaten most of the cuts in the house and only have enough eggs to last until my DH goes to Sam's Club on Tuesday night, I guess I am having hot dogs for dinner tonight.
In case you can't figure it out, I am back on the Atkins Diet. I have already lost about 7 pounds, and that is what is keeping me motivated right now.
Friday night we ate dinner at Golden Corral. I had lots of seafood and some pot roast...YES I did eat. BUT they did not have any orange kool-aide.
Saturday was KFC for dinner. And tonight was Subway. My ex-husband is in town and has been buying dinner each night. He is staying at my house while he is here. The kids are enjoying him.
I need to go make some kool-aide...my body is going through withdrawal for its lovely orange chemicals! LOL

We had pepperoni pizza tonight. No kool-aide yet, I am washing my kool-aide jug out.

Sounds like everyone been eating some good food.. all sounds yummy..
Nice Lulu to have ex hubby buy dinner... enjoy...
Last night we went out to celebrate Angela and Rob's anniversary. We went to Mongolian resturant.. They cook your food while you watch..They had crab, steak, en, shrimp, lamb, duck, lots of veggies, and fruits. they put on this big grill and cook it all. they also have some pretzel bread, and you can make salad, and also they had cream of brocilli cheese soup.. I had some of all it.. except the duck, and lamb.. I tried the other meats.. It was real good.. They gave Angela and rob, a free dessert , Which was a chocolate Strawberry sunday.. We all had some of it.. We were all stuffed.. I got them a food processor , They were happy about that..
Nancy, I really miss Mongolian dining. It is where the DH took me on our first date, and we have had many of Christmas Eve dinner there, too. There just isn't a good restaurant like that close enough to us for dinner.
DD and I did some grocery sho-pping today and I picked up a couple of veal chops that were on sale. I panned fried on in butter for dinner - it was delicious.
Anyway, I have lost 8 pounds in 12 days, so I will keep eating lots of meat, chi-cken and seafood (with some fresh veggies and salads as supplements) for the next several months - or at least until more of my clothes fit again.
Lady, I am glad you been losing weight.. Sounds real good. Stick to what you are doing it is working...
We had some stuffed peppers for supper. Amy made some a couple of days ago. and we had some left. i had a tossed salad too.
I am thinking of warming up some fake crab in butter with half of a tomato. It made a yummy lunch a few days ago, and I like to mix up the choices as much as possible. Seafood, then beef, then en, then pork, etc. It keeps the boredom level down. It s that I am not afraid to us herbs and spices in my cooking.
And with results like these, I am not about to go off of this diet until I am much nearer to my goal weight.
Well, my mom and sister are travelling and arriving in my town this evening. Sister is coming from Seattle and mom is coming from Alberta. I am making a pork roast marinated in Terriaki, mashed potatoes, corn, sliced french bread and a broccolli salad. I also plan on making cherry turnovers made by that cute little chef -- the Pillsbury Doughboy -- childhood favorite!
Hope it all goes well.
