Actually, dinner ended up being even simpler than I originally planned. we had fish sticks and tater tots. Quick and easy and very few dirty , too.

My inbox now has less than 50 messages in it for me to read and deal with, down from around a thousand earlier this week.

If I can keep the clutter of the inbox down, maybe I will be able to post here more often.

Lulu I bet that was delicious!!!
tonight we had some speghetti noodles with onion and garlic, and some zucinni diced up and some yellow squash diced up, some green peppers diced up, and then enough Italian salad dressing to cover it.
When ready to serve put some parasean cheese, on top, and some parsley.

Tonight we had some different food for a birthday celebration. Amy my youngest had her birthday today. she turned 33.
Her Dad brought over a sea food lasagna. It had salmon, and shrimp in it, the noodles, and then a white Cheese sauce. He is a chef. It was real good. Angie and Rob bought 4# of salmon, Angie cooked it on the grill with lemon and onion and dill and some mayo. It was real good
Amy made a tossed salad. She put bacon that fried up and crumbled into it.
She also put Lettuce, tomato, brocoflower, mushrooms, green peppers, onions, shredded cheese, and baby corn. It was good.
then for dessert Angie and Rob, had gotten a cheese cake from a town called Frankenmuth. It is a town that makes all kinds of homemade things, From like Germany. any way the cheese cake every kind of fresh fruit on the very top. we had kiwi, mandrid oranges, blue beries, raspberries, strawberries, black berries, and I think that was it. Before the fruit was put on, It had a layer of like a white chocolate mousse. Not really sure exactly, But was it ever rich. and soooo good. We all ate too much. But Amy had a good birthday!!!.

Yes Lulu Amy did have a nice birthday.

Tonight we had Chinese buffet, My brother only has a 2 door car, so I can;t ride in the back seat. and now since my Mom has the new hip she can;t get back there either, so today since I did not have a ride with anyone else, my Brother took me and dropped me off with Brittany and then came hom e and got my Mom, When we were done eating, he had to come back and get me and Brit, That was about a trip, but it was nice going out We have not been out in a few weeks now.
I had one of them good cream puffs too.

Hi All!

Tonight I made my rice, cheese, chic-ken and broccoli stove top casserole for dinner. I the fact that Zataran's brand rice does not stick to the bottom of the pan!!!

Lulu - yes, I am still writing the restaurant review column for the local paper. However, I just found out that the managing editor (the one who hired me and makes sure that I get paid) is leaving for another position at another paper by the end of October. I'm glad I read the local paper, or I never would have known. I hope that I can get a new arrangement worked out with whoever takes his place, as it would be nice to actually get paid (instead of only reimbursed) for writing my review columns.

I can hardly wait for the weather to get a bit er, so I can start making pot roasts and stews again.

I hope it works out for you!! I hope you had a good birthday too!!

Dinner was yummy. The chili turned out good, not as good as when my mom makes it...but then food always tastes better when someone else makes it!!!
