today I had some left over fish and fries for lunch.Last night they moved my Mom to a rest home. When me and brother Keith got there she was getting out of bed. She needs a hip replacement. the socket and ball are both completely shot. The last xray should Her bone could break with the least weight on it. It took us over 20 minutes to get the nurse down there. This was not really a home for a person who can't really get out of bed, if she started walking on her leg, we would have even more damage This home is kind of an assisted living home. For people who can do things for there self but still can't live alone. We stayed up there about 2 hours. Then my brother Tom and his wife came up. We told them we wanted to go eat and we would be back.
When we got back we all had a discussion and decided my brother could take better care of her at home, at least she would not be trying t o get up by herself. they had a little cushioned mat beside her bed in case she fell. Well it would not do a lot of good.
We checked her out, and took her home in an ambalance.
They got her in the bed. My brother had to on the couch so he could hear her, if she tried getting up.
She tried several times. He did not get any last night. and netiher did I worring how he was going to do.
Well this he had her up sitting in a wheel chair. He had her put her arms around his neck and ed her into the chair. she did nt have to put weight on her hip.
she seems to be doing ok.
We are going to get her some Moo Moo's. She wants to get dressed. We got her dressed this . What a chore. Plus every time she has to go to the room , it will be a chore. So tomorow she will have moo moo's instead of slacks and blouse. Any way keep her in your thoughts and ers. We hope to get the hip operation real soon.

Basically, the same thing as the last 2 nights. Leftovers from the big medieval event we had on Saturday. (New feastcrat, too much food was made.)
Yesterday, I ate some of the left over cabbage, and finished off the meatballs.
This afternoon, I finished off the last of the egg pie (like quiche only better).
Tonight, we still have cabbage, and venison pie left to eat, along with marinated cucumbers, and homemade wheat bread with honey butter. I have been eating the bread with melted cheese for breakfast the last two days.
When all of the food is finally gone, I will be happy for something mundane and freshly made like take-out pizza, or spaghetti and italian sausage.
