Sounds like everyone had a delicious supper.Ponderosa, and Chinesse plus allthe homemade stuff, all sounds real yummy.
We had a good supper to. We had some fried battered Walleye Pike, and fries, and some coleslaw, and also a a sugarless chocolate dessert.

Countrymama, was that the blue hake from Schwanns? I love that stuff but of course, none of my kids do! How did you fix it?

We had rotisserie en, mashed taters and gravy, green beans and biscuits. It was yummy.

Yes Lulu it was the Blue Hake from Schwans. They changed the cooking instrutions from when I first started getting it, but I still cook it the same way. I put them in the baking dish and drizzle a bit of EVOO(Extra virgin olive oil) then I put on some type of spice, I think I used itaiian seasoning but i have used salad supreme too or what ever i happen to have.

Tonight we are going to visit the Italians just for you Lulu! not sure what we are going to get though I really want a good salad Yeah I am trying to be good

I made Mexican: shredded en, spanish rice, refried beans. We piled it all together and crumbled taco shells on top and added cheese. Not too bad. It would have been a lot better if I had some sour cream and fresh tomatos but I was broke! We did have salsa to add though.

I am having Tinga for dinner tonight. I posted the recepie a while back is the most easy thing to make the kids like it and so do I. Here is the recepie again:

Bag of Tostadas
1 chipotle chili
3 small tomatoes
2 small onions
3 chiken breast (cooked and shredded)
Sour cream
Oil
cut the onions and tomatoes into thin wedges.
Place onions, tomatoes, chiken and chipotle in a skillet with some oil.
Stir it until onions are clear and tomatoes are soft.
Place mixture on top of tostada and put some sour cream on top. Yummo!!
Enjoy!!!
