We had lasgna and garlic cheese bread and ice cream and cake. We celebrated my Moms bithday last night. even though it was friday. I got her one of those velux blankets. She had one , but it was years ago and it was all worn out. She enjoyed that. Angela and Rob got her a nice new comfoter. So she is set for a while there.
a made a pineaple cake and added pineapple, and mandrid oranges to it, then took a can of white frosting, and mixed it with whipped cream and put some pineapple, mandrid oranges, and a little of the juice of the pineapple, and oranges. It was real good.

Nancy, that cake sounds delish!! I am glad your mom had a good birthday.

We had potato and ham soup. It was quite yummy BUT I confess...I did not make it. Thank goodness for Campbell's Soup!

LuLu that soup sounded good, I was surprized to hear it was in a can.
they can make some pretty good soup in a can anymore.

Tonight, Angela and my brother Keith & I went out to eat. We had fortune Buffet, a new place that opened. It was ok. but we still like our old place. Hong Kong buffet. It was nice for a change of pace. They have the mongolian stuff there that the cook prepareds for you. I like that. Hong Kong does not. But they have lots of friendly people working there. and good food.

That sounds yummy. I love Mongolian style. The soup WAS good, it was a Campbell's Selects. I also love their chic ken tortilla soup too.

Must have been the day for soup. Only I made mine. Wedding soup. Now before you all go getting impressed, it is really easy. Take 3 cans Progresso Chick erina soup, 3 cans chik en broth, and a can of en. I also add a can of carrots, a little dried celery, and a small box of chopped spinach. Let cook, and Presto! Homemade wedding soup. I used to work in a restaurant and this is how they made it.

Hi!

I ate leftover chic-ken soup for dinner. The DH ate pizza rolls and the DD happily ate a TV dinner. I worked this , and then went . That along with homeschooling used up my entire afternoon.

I'm not sure what I am making for tomorrow as I am working in the , and homeschooling in the afternoon.

We went to burger King, Angela and I had whopper and fry, and diet Coke.
We had heavy everything on our whopper. That makes it real tasty.

We went up to where my husband was doing security tonight and ate at a filipino restaurant called Lissa's. I had some amazing pancit and lumpia. It was soooo good. Afterwards, for dessert, we went to another filipino bakery and got some sweet goodies there including a yummy coconut pie.

I made my rice, cheese, chic-ken and broccoli stove top casserole tonight. Everyone was so hungry that there was none left - usually we end up with at least one serving left after dinner. The DH missed lunch, because they thought they might get out of work early. By the time they discovered they weren't, it was too late to go off campus to grab anything.

Tomorrow the DD and I are traveling to Norfolk for T-Day. I gave the DH the option of staying home and so he is going to stay here and relax. He would not have had a good enough time tomorrow to make it worth it for him to go down with us. I am sure he will take himself out somewhere for dinner - probably Long John Silvers if they are open. The DD and I will be having a trad T-day dinner with . Then, she may end up having a 2nd one where she is spending the night with her best friend. It is good that T-Day dinner only happens once a year, or we may all end up with stomachs the size of the turkeys that we buy.
