Sounds like a good time will be had by all. The meals sound pretty good. You don't need anything elaborate for camping.

For dinner we are having a salad from KFC. We have a coupon buy a grilled

en salad get one free. So that will be a cheap dinner. Plus Brittay wnats some pop corn

en. So that will be a nice dinner.

I made a pot of homemade chili with beans and some homemade corny cornbread. It was very yummy. I have to say it was the best pot of chili I had ever made! (Or maybe I was hungry?) It was very good. I love adding a can of corn to my corn bread mix. It makes it extra moist and yummy.

I made my corn bread with cheese & beer in College...that was before Weight Watchers!

Tonight is Greek Salad.
Last night the DH grilled some catfish & made a HOT mango salsa from scratch!
to DIE for and HOT as Blazes!

Wow LuLu, that chili does sound good. and corn bread. Yummy I have not had any in a long time. Been hot here all day, still 79 at 10:30 PM.
But I like chili anytime.

for supper I went to the chinese buffet with my brother. Brittany and Amy had went to the mall with Amy's boyfriend, so I was the on.ly one home. I had crab legs, sweet and sour

en, some crab ragoons, and some curry

en , boy was that hot tonight. Also some fried shrimp.
and coconut shrimp.
Yummy. Also some watermellon, and some flan. ( custard type stuff. )

Thanks, Nancy. It was yum. I had it for lunch today too! Gotta love easy leftovers. I was too lazy to cook tonight so we had Taco Bell.

My son wanted hot dogs and mac & cheese.
I am having some leftover grilled catfish with the mango salsa my DH made a few days ago, with a veggie.

I confess....it was a stressful day with the first day of school, so I bought the kids Lunchables. Me? I had a glass of Pepsi. SHHH...don't tell anyone. I am not supposed to be drinking soda.

Since my DH took the day off from work and didn't go to class, and I worked most of the day, I let him know that dinner was his responsibility tonight.

He went and purchased Little Caesar's pizzas for us. I don't know what we did before they came to town.

At least I didn't have to cook.

I had pizza, ( a schawnn) from the delivery man who sells frozen food. Any way we had that with everything on it. Not as good as the Pizza shop but not bad. Then we had a tossed salad with everything in it.

We had fish sticks, mashed taters and corn on the cob. It was yummy. It was NOT what I was planning on fixing. I had defrosted some hamburger to make a taco/cheese thing but the hamburger smelled funny. Which really ticks me off as I froze it FRESH. Not sure what happened. Makes me mad.

LuLu your dinner sounds yummy. I hate when the meat does not smell good or gets freezer burn. Meat costs too much to throw away.
Well at least you had a good meal.

I went to chinese buffet with Angela , My Mom and my brother. Brittany and Amy had chop suey at home. They had to go to gymnastics tonight.
