I have watched Guiding Light since I was in kindergarten. Are there others out there that watch it? I don't have anyone else to talk to about it and would like to.
I watch it as much as possible. It comes on when I have to go meet the boys at the bus stop so I miss the first 10 minutes or so of it. Yesterday, Phillip collapsed and I don't know why. I'm going to have to try to watch some today to see if I can figure it out.
I am two days behind in watching (I tape it everyday). The last episode I saw had the creepy woman walking in on Michelle, Marina and Marah. They sat there like it was no big deal even after the woman said she "lived" in Michelle's house. Is she supposed to be a ghost? Is she the ghost of the woman in the grave that Buzz, Ed, Josh and Billy keep visiting?

Oh see...you need to catch up on those taped episodes and clue Mrs. Fish and I in to these story lines!!! ROFL! I really haven't seen much of this show recently. I am going to make a point to sit down and watch the 2nd half today.

I don't know if the "ghost" is the person in the grave. The "ghost" is calling herself Carrie and the name on the grave is Maryanne Curuthers. According to Soap Opera Digest there has never been a mention of this Maryanne Curuthers in the soap's history.
As for Phillip I am not sure he is going to make it till Olivia comes back. (December 2 also according to SOD) How sad was that, him lying on the floor and telling Beth and Alan there seemed no point in getting up. I have to say that Phillip is my favorite on the show.
Although I love Jeffery O'Neal. I love how they have Marah after him now. Wasn't it great how she was getting him so flustered at Towers?

I like Jeffery O'Neal too though I'm waiting for him to say to Cassie...Surprise! I'm really your husband come back to life and spying on Richard to get the dirt on him! LOL!
I am so lost on this ghost storyline! LOL! It adds a great element to the show though! I think on Friday she showed up saying there was 4 rings all together. Hmmmmm....

I will not be happy if he really is.
Right now on the show he doesn't have a terminal illness or anything like that. He is having a mental breakdown over Olivia leaving him. I just meant in my post that he is deteriorating rapidly and that if she doesn't come back soon he might be locked away in an institution. Sorry if I caused you any panic

I wonder if she is supposed to be a "fairy Godmother-type" to the three girls. I just saw her in a scene with Marina and it just seemed like a fairy Godmother counseling her Godchild. All three of them seem to be in some turmoil in their lives to some extent. Marah broke up with Tony, Michele is always having something going on w/Danny and Marina and Shane are having difficulties. Maybe Michele's mom Maureen sent her??? LOL! I don't know. 'Tis a mystery!

Yes...this is true;) I usually don't stress over missing a day or so because I can USUALLY pick right back up without much effort but this storyline has me puzzled.
Most of the story lines have me puzzled right now. I finally am caught up to date though.
Did anyone watch yesterday(Monday)? I loved the scene where a very drunk Josh, of all people, was trying to get Jeffery to talk about the woman in his life who was driving him which happens to be Marah. I actually ed out loud.
Haven't seen much of Phillip in the last episodes though. Maybe today
