Asparagus and Wild Rice Casserole

2 tablespoons chopped onion
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1/2 cup sour cream
2 cups cooked wild rice
2 pounds asparagus, cut into 2 inch pieces and cooked
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
6 slices bacon, diced and cooked

1. Preheat oven to 350°.
2. Grease a 11x7x2" baking dish.
3. Fry onion in butter until tender.
4. Stir in flour and salt until smooth.
5. Add milk.
6. Cook until thickened.
7. Cook 1 minute more.
8. Remove from heat.
9. Stir in sour cream.
10.Place wild rice in baking dish.
11.Top with asparagus, sauce, cheese and bacon.
12.Bake 30 minutes
