--CRUST --
2 cups flour
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 cups chopped pecans
--CARAMEL:--
1 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 Tbsp. corn syrup
12 oz. choc. chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix flour, brown sugar and butter to make crust; pat into a 13 x 9 pan. Sprinkle nuts over crust. In saucepan over medium heat mix butter, syrup and brown sugar. Bring to a boil; boil for 1 minute stirring constantly. Pour caramel mixture over nuts. Bake 18 to 22 minutes. Remove from oven sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over all. Cool; cut into squares.
