Smile Chocolate Obsession Pie

Chocolate Obsession Pie


1 frozen pie crust unbaked, chilled
3/4 cup sugar
3 eggs large
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 cup walnut chopped
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Prepare pie crust, using your own recipe or a purchased refrigerated ready-to-bake pie crust.

Preheat oven to 350°.

Place sugar, eggs, corn syrup, butter, and cornstarch in a small mixer bowl. With an electric mixer, beat at low speed until well blended. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips. Pour into pie crust.

Bake 40 to 50 minutes or until puffy and mixture is set around edges. Place pie on a wire ing rack to .

Serve within 2 hours or refrigerate up to 2 days. If refrigerated, let pie warm to room temperature before serving. Refrigerate leftovers.

This recipe sounds sooooo good. Chocolate obsession - the name says it all. Sounds as good as a chocolate pecan pie recipe I have. This recipe is decadently rich. But oh so good
