1-3/4 cups thawed whipped topping
1/3 cup maple-flavored syrup
2 ripe bananas, sliced
1 can (20 oz.) pineapple chunks, drained
1/2 cup flaked coconut (see tip below)
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
Beat whipped topping and syrup in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended.
Gently stir in fruit, coconut and walnuts. Refrigerate.
Tip: If you wish to toast the coconut before adding to recipe here's how - spread coconut in shallow baking pan and bake at 350°F, 7 to 12 minutes until coconut is light brown, stirring occasionally.
