Thumbs up Blackberry Cobbler

Blackberry Cobbler

Ingredients:

1 cup of flour ( self rising or not)(I prefer self rising)
1 cup of milk
1 to 1 1/2 cups of sugar
1 to 2 cups of fresh blackberries (can use frozen or canned)

**(I also presugar my berries so they will have some juice to them...use as much sugar as prefer)

Mix together all ingredients, except berries, stir or use whisk til smooth.

Pour batter into bottom of c***erole dish & pour berries on top of batter. Batter will rise thru berries.

You can add extra sugar or cinnamon/ cinnamon sugar on top of batter or berries- if you prefer not to gently fold batter over berries) comes out delicious either way.

It is best to preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake for about an hr....
checking after about 45 mins or so.

If using a deep dish to bake in I suggest adding 15 mins extra.
Just make sure to check after the 1st hour is up.

Enjoy.

**(Blackberry season is in!!)Atleast in SC it is.
