4 bagels
3 Tbs. butter or margarine
3 Tbs. vegetable oil
2 cloves crushed garlic
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. paprika
Slice each bagel horizontally in 6 pieces. In small pan, saute
garlic in 1 Tbs. butter or margarine until lightly browned. Add
remaining ingredients; stir until margarine is melted. Spread bagels out on

sheet. Brush both sides of bagel slices with mixture. Bake at 375 for 5 minutes on each side. Baking time may vary according to oven and how thin bagels are sliced. After bagels are

ed, place in airtight container.
Note:
Variation - sprinkle with Parmesan cheese the last 2 minutes of
baking.
