Early Reader Books for kids

Hi there eveyone.

Isaac my 5 1/2 yo wil be starting 1st Grade in the fall and I am looking for Good Early Reader books for him to read over the summer.

He loves Buscuit but I think we've ready ever darn buscuit book out there ;)

Any suggestions you may have for good books to encourage his reading would be wonderful. He is at the beginning level. I usually shop for my book on eBay (I love a good sale..lol)

Thanks In Advance

Real

NickJr has a set of early reader books out.
I've seen toy story ones too.
Has he read any Little critter or Bernstein bear books ?
Both have early reader books too.

Target & walmart has the books pretty cheap.

Thanks so much for your reply. We do have a few of the Bernstein bear books but I don't think I've heard of Little critter. I'll have to look closely at the books the next time I hit Target.

Thanks,

Aurelia

I'm so to not have responded to this post. I never saw it!! I love to buy and read books. I buy my kids lot's of books!

I hardly ever buy new books. I'm a second hand store shopper. Books can be found for real cheap. Anywhere from .29-.99.

Are there any second hand book store's in your town?

Ebay also has seller's who sell multiple books in lot's. I've seen them go for pretty cheap.

TIP:
Just watch the shipping. I know that a regular adult paperback can be shipped for less than $1.50. Three paperbacks for under $2.00.

Check it out your local freecycle group on yahoogroups.
