Question Favorite Childrens Books?

What are some of your favorite childrens books that you would like to share with us?

I like "Goodnight Moon" (this is great for toddlers especially if the are fascinated with the moon like mine are)

And "I'll Love you forever" (this book always brings a tear to my eye when I read it)

Brown Bear, Brown Bear - My kids love this book and when they were toddlers and had it memorized, they were always so proud of themselves when they "guessed" the next color/animal, etc.

Midnight Train - I forget who it's by but it is a great story. Another one the kids have memorized so I can stop reading at any point in any sentance and they can finish the sentance for me. Really nice rhyming in this book too and it is an exciting story!

I read Goodnight Moon to my girls every night. They would prompt me with the next word. Also, Runaway Bunny is a great teary one. Fave for kids a little older than toddlers is Where The Wild Things Are. It gets the imaginations really going.

When it comes to "I'll Love You Forever," a tear in my eye is the least of my problems. My poor daughter...she couldn't wait till she could learn to read so we would finish the book. I can only go so far, and I lose it...tears everywhere...get out the boat cause I'll be flooding the place out.

We love Dr. Seuss, however...when I read Dr. Seuss, my tongue becomes loose, and I rhyme words by the hour, with word-rhyming power.

Also, the Berenstein Bears.

And...my newest all time favorite...The Night Before Kindergarten!
