Royal Hot Chocolate
Hershey's Best-Loved Recipes
2 bars (1 oz each) Hershey's Unsweetened Baking Chocolate, broken into pieces
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
4 cups boiling water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Dash salt
Whipped cream, optional
Ground cinnamon, optional
Melt chocolate in large heavy saucepan over low heat. Stir in sweetened
condensed milk. Gradually add water, stirring until well blended. Stir in
vanilla and salt. Garnish with whipped cream and cinnamon, if desired.
Serve immediately.
Makes 8 servings.
