Wild Rice w/Hazelnuts & Blueberries
2 cups (500 ml) wild rice
5 cups (1.25 L) water
2 medium onions, chopped
1 cup (250 ml) dried blueberries
1 cup (250 ml) chopped hazelnuts
Combine the wild rice, water, & onion in a pot & bring to a boil over
high heat. Reduce the heat & simmer covered until most of the water is
absorbed, about 40 minutes. Stir in the blueberries & hazelnuts &
simmer, stirring occasionally, for 20 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.
